OK. So American Idol was a let down. Maybe I'm so starved for new TV that I over hyped it. All I can really hope for is that January 31st get here as soon a possible. I can't wait to get me some LOST.

Is anyone else excited for it? There is a whole group at the office that critiques the episodes and things like that. It's pretty fun.

Is anyone excited about American Idol tonight?!!! I am! More so for the fact that FINALLY there will be something on that isn't a re-run. Thank the lord! Two full hours of never before seen footage! Woo hoo!

I Almost Died Today

OK. Exaggeration. But I seriously did fear for my life.

I was at the top of the stairwell at my office when suddenly, my right food decided to stop stepping forward. My heal got stuck on the first step and suddenly I found myself falling. Luckily, I grabbed the hand rail before toppling head-over-heals all the way down the stairs.

Instead, I just suffered a mild twisted ankle.

My boss has been out of the office the past couple days, and life has been pretty hectic for me because of it. I'm actually blogging from home right now. I was going to scrapbook, but I just don't feel like getting my fat ass up out of this chair to bend over a table. But I really need to finish scrapbooking my wedding.

My dad is in town, so that's pretty fun. He drove up, and brought me his old TV. They bought a new flat screen TV a while back. So they decided to give me their old one. It's about twice the size as my old one. Funny thing is, I never realized how small my old TV was until they put this on in. DJ bought a TV stand that actually isn't horrible. (I actually think I like it.)

Damn, McDreamy is HOT! I'll marry him and have his babies if Meredith won't.

Who's ready for Lost to start? Yeah baby!

Hot Steamy Sex

Did anyone happen to catch the end of Private Practice on Wednesday? I watch that show. I'm not sure why, because I don't really like anything they are doing with the characters. Other than I've always thought Tim Daily was hot, and ditto for Tay Diggs.

So anyway. Tay and his ex-wife (the characters anyway) get it on pretty good at the end of the show. I as so turned on by Tay I almost had to, well... I didn't. So we don't need to go there. If you missed the epi, and want to see it, click on this link. Really the only good scene is that last one.

Couldn't find a hot sexy one, so his one will have to do.

Premiere Week

Is anyone excited about Premier Week?!  I am!  I haven't watched much TV in the past few months, and I totally forgot about the good shows that are out there.  What are you planning to watch?  Here is what I plan to watch, although I missed last nights premier's because I was at the hospital.  (More on that later.)

 

Shows I'll be repeating

Two & a Half Men (Mon. 8:00 CBS).  OK.  This is more a DJ pick.  I watch it because it's on, but it's actually sort of funny.

 

Rules of Engagement (Mon. 8:30 CBS).  This show was super hilarious when it was on for a couple weeks back in the day.  So hopefully it will stay that way.

 

Earl (Thur. 7:00 NBC). I might be checking out of this one this season.  But I was a fan last season.

 

The Office (Thur. 7:30 NBC).  A must watch for anyone who works in an office!

 

Grey's Anatomy (Thur. 8:00 ABC).  Of course! Don't even need to say anything more.

 

Nip Tuck (Fridays? ).  I can't for the life of me, figure out when this show finally returns to the air waves.  But I can't miss it!  I think it's going to be a great season!  The boys are starting over in LA.

 

Shows I'll be checking out

Dirty Sexy Money (Wed. 9:00 ABC).  Could be interesting.  It also has a drugged up Baldwin in it.  How could it go wrong?

 

Private Practice (Wed. 8:00 ABC). Wasn't too impressed with the spin off after Grey's, but I'll try to be loyal and remain optimistic.

    Bionic Woman (Wed 8:00 NBC).  Interests me, but don't think I'll be watching regularly.  But I'll try and tune in to the first show during commercial breaks.  (I think I need a Tivo).

 

Damages (Thur 9:00 FX).  I hear this was really good. So I'm curious.  I'm going to try to remember when it's on so I can check it out.

 

Some other show.  I keep seeing previews of some show that is supposed to be the male version of Sex and the City.  As soon as I remember what that is, I think I'll tune in.  If I get to see as much D$ck and ass, as we "got" to see of t$ts and ass on SAC it should be a good show!

Boob Tube & Your Daily Education

I have to say, it's quite nice not being tied to the boob tube (aka the TV). Since the season finally of Lost and Grey's Anatomy, I haven't had to be home in my chair at any specified time for a couple weeks now. That being said, I am so happy to see that Hell's Kitchen is back on. I forgot how great this show is! I love Gordon Ramsey. He's an ass, but when he's not being an ass, he's a really good mentor. Plus, when he's in street cloths, he's pretty hot. He can verbally abuse me any night!

On my weekend O Fun with Kai, I bought this really cool contraption at the As Seen on TV store. It is a Power Mixer. Check it out. I ordered some protein shake mix from a competitor a couple weeks ago. (One of the fun things I get to do, is order things online to see how our competitors are doing.) So anyway. I tried this stuff out, and it would be pretty good if I could find a good shaker or something to mix up all the lumps. Just tried this thing out today. It rocks! It's super quiet, and works better than you think it is. I had no lumps in my drink within seconds.

In my quest for the perfect shaker, I had asked my uncle where he got his shaker bottle from. He is on a program from USANA which essentially is a slim fast sort of deal, but better because it's packed with vitamins and nutrients that you need from your daily diet. This particular program seems pretty good because they also put you on supplements to ensure that you are not depriving your body of any neccessary nutrients. Anyway. I was asking him about his shaker bottle, and he sent me a 5 day "Reset" package of the stuff he's on. I was completely shocked when I got it. Especially when I saw the bill. I've got to call my uncle and find out if I owe him money. That's a lot of money. But I'm thinking this stuff is worth it. I started it yesterday and I haven't had a single hunger pain or craving for anything. This reset program calls for a shake for breakfast, a snack, shake for lunch, snack, shake for dinner, 1 serving vegetables, 1 serving fruit. It's sort of weird that I haven't had a full meal in two days, but I feel great, and like I said, haven't had a single craving for anything. And what's even stranger to me. I couldn't finish my shake tonight. It was just too much. I had to put 1/2 of it back into the fridge until I was ready for the rest of it. Depending on what the scale says at the end of my 5 day trial, I might find myself ordering more of this stuff. I'll keep y'all posted on my results. But so far, it's feeling pretty good. Let's see if I totally crash tomorrow. Here's what I've eaten today:
Breakfast Shake
1 pc Ghirardelli Chocolate
Lunch Shake
1 hard boiled egg
2 pc cheese with crackers
Dinner Shake
Plus, 30 minute walk, and 30 minute bike ride.

Not bad eh?

American Idol

Is Anyone else watching American Idol?  No one in my office is, so I am guessing I'm the only one.  There is this Indian kid on there Sajay something.  He's terrible, but people aren't voting him off.  I'm totally shocked by this.  Well.  Actually not surprised, it causes good drama each week.  DJ and I take turns coming up with nicknames for him.  My favorite is Sanjackson since he looks and sings a lot like MJ.  We've also come up with Sanjiggy which is fun to say.  (Saying anything with the word jiggy in it is fun.) I don't think we've called him the same thing twice.  It's pretty fun.  We sit there the whole hour and come up with ways to work his name into our conversation.  ha! 

 

We're such lame married  people.  I aware of the problem.

Woo Hoo! The Weekend Is Here!

Have I mentioned that I'm happy the weekend is here? I've totally been burned out so far as sitting in an office goes. I'd much rather be at home tinkering away on some of my many projects. I wish I could get paid for all the things I have going at home. Maybe someday I will, but for now, there just aren't enough hours after work to get things done. Especially if I don't go straight home to start on them. Last night, I turned my computer on, tinkered for a while, and then decided enough is enough! I'm done! I'm doing nothing. So I sat and watched Earl without doing anything else. Then I got bored, and decided to start knitting a scarf (someone I know suggested I make one for her daughter...) Next thing I know, I'm half way through Grey's and I haven't even been watching, just listening. So then I decide to put down the needles. But then I picked up something else. Maybe I have developed ADD in my old age.

What does everyone do when they get home? Do you lounge around? Do you bake? What are other people doing? I want to know. Am I normal?

Oh My...

This was not staged. This was actually on TV...The commentators paused and didn't say a Word... Arkansas Razorback players Clarke Moore, Brett Goode and Casey Dick probably should stop hanging out on the sidelines together. Tee hee hee.

New Show!

I discovered a new show. I think I'm coming in at the 4th season, but still, it's new to me. I thought it was an HBO show, but turns out it's an FX show. So Goodie goodie gum-drops to me! The first episode I saw had Mario Lopez naked in a shower. Boy, I have a total new respect for Slater (If you didn't get that, he played Slater on Saved by the Bell). Have you figured out which show it is? It's Nip Tuck. Even DJ likes it. But I think that's because they don't skimp on their sex sceens.

I had added it to my netflix to watch the past seasons before I found it, but like I said, I thought this was an HBO show, so wasn't expecting to get in on the live action. I'm totally excited. The original new episode comes on on Tuesdays at 9:00, and they replay on Sunday at 9:00. I've been watching them on Sunday. I'm going to have to make up a schedule for my TV shows to see if I can plug in the Tuesday night epi's.

What are you watching? What new shows have you seen and decided are worth watching? I stumbled across Friday Night Lights and tried to watch it, but I really couldn't. It was a Friday Night, and I was so bored I needed something to watch, but even that, I just couldn't. Instead I decided to take a nap.
