As of This Hour

I will have been married 42,975 hours.

So Tired, and Cramping

I got home last night from the lake at 11:00. Then, I couldn't sleep so I started to read. This was a bad idea, because it got my mind working, then I couldn't go to sleep because I was thinking about the characters in my book.

Before I recap my Memorial Day Weekend, I have to tell y'all that I heard from a friend of mine that I haven't talked to since I moved. Well, we emailed at first, but then she had a baby and we stopped emailing because she was busy I am guessing, and not near a computer everyday like she used to be. Anyway. I emailed her to tell her that "our favorite" manager at our old office got canned. I figured if this bit of news didn't elicit a response from her, then she no longer checks that email address. :o) Well, she responded, and I'm totally happy to hear from her. Yippie!

So here are the not so exciting haps of my weekend. I know some of you will ask me about it if I don't post it, so I'm posting it so I don't have to repeat it. But I'm warning you, I'm sure it's going to be a bland read.

Here goes. Friday I got out of work at 2:00. My office rocks so hard that they ACTUALLY let you out early for holidays. (I think I like this office, it runs more like a normal office. Even though I'm bored a lot here.) Instead of driving off to the big W, I decided to go home and take a much needed, much longed for nap. My Friday night went like this.
2:15 arrive home, let rabbit out, lay down on couch.
3:45 open one eye, glance at clock, fall back asleep.
5:30 open eye again, glance at clock, think about getting up, fall back asleep
6:50 open eye again, see rabbit staring at me, start wondering if she's going to pounce, and get up before she pounces. (I think she must have been pissed that I hadn't moved in so long, or else thought I was dead). I move to the floor to pet her where I lay for another 1/2 hour while I watch Sex and the City Season 3 Disc 3.
10:30 Turn TV off and go to bed.
I told you I was very tired.

I woke up ready for the day on Saturday. I had to drive to the Cities to do my final walk-thru of the apartment. That was totally not worth my time. The regular lady, whom I think would have been a lot more strict, was not there, and another lady was. That lady just basically opened my cabinets and stuff and then had me sign the paper. I am assuming this means nothing was wrong and I will be getting my deposit back. Woo hoo! That will go toward my grill money! She did tell me I did a great job! Her actual words were, "You did a great job club kb. Really." Which made me wonder what other people's apartments look like when they move out? But I do think I did a great job! :o)

So after that, I called my friend Jordan up and pulled her away from her busy day of pool sitting and baking. (Making yourself look freakishly tan takes a lot of time and effort.) She, her cousin, and I went to Don Pablos to eat. This was around 3:30-4:00. I was the only one to drink, and my margarita was literally the size of my head. I loved it! After that, we went back to her place and just lounged around until my mom called me. I met my mom for dinner at a restaurant called Chevy's, which turned out to also be a Mexican restaurant (not a very good one though). So I ordered the appetizer quesadillas. (I only ate 2 out of the 8 triangles) My mom ordered some sort of sampler plate that we both could have eaten off of. She didn't' like most of the stuff on there, so I got to take home my quesadillas, and her left overs. I left them in D's fridge. He better eat them, because if they go to waste I'm totally going to be pissed off! He never looks into containers. I swear, if the container isn't see through, he doesn't know it's there. Then, I bid farewell to my mom, and headed to the MOA (since it was right next door to the restaurant).

I was looking for some sort of terry cloth outfit that I could wear comfortably at the lake all weekend, but apparently that trend it out. I couldn't find anything cute. So now I have to make myself a cute outfit for lake lounging. (This will be added to my project list and priorities accordingly.) Then I headed back to the big W. I got there around midnight just in time to fight with my husband before going to bed. Apparently, "Hi honey, lets get in the shower and make out" pisses a man off. I guess he's been frustrated with me for a while because he totally let me have it. Apparently, I'm not being supportive when I whine that I don't get to see him. He's been really stressed out the last couple of weeks. There are two times of the year we have issues. Seeding, and then again at Harvest. It's always the same issue. I'm lonely and feel neglected because his farming steals him away, and he's too tired to pretend to care.

Sunday I decided that since no one was going to the lake (in-laws) included. I'd call my favorite Sister-in-laws up and organize a drunken lake get away with them. The were in, but then SIL #1 (born in one) spilled to my MIL that we were headed up at 10:00 then she decided to join us. No problem though. Me and SIL #2 (The married in one) headed off to the lake asap to have some alone time. We got there, inflated our floaties, hooked up her her two ugly Chihuahuas to chains, and headed out to the beach.
(<-the one on the left is a long haired Chihuahua, and the other one is the normal ugly kind. She's still a puppy)

Problem #1: It was windier than all get out
Problem #2: Do you know how hard it is to carry a floatie when it's windier than all get out? and carry your beer? and two dogs?
Problem #3: It was so windy the water was washing a bunch of reeds and muck onto the beach shore.
Problem #4: The Sun is the devil. DEVIL I TELL YOU!

We placed our floaties with our feet in the water, and our butts on the shore. Sat and drank while the reeds and muck washed up around us. But we didn't care - Think of it as a free expensive spa treatment. The water was pretty warm. An hour or so passed before we were joined by the other SIL and MIL. We headed in when a huge rotting fish carcuss tried to wash up onto our floaties. We headed to the other side of the lake, where it was calmer, and got in and floated around for another hour or so to get our back sides. Remember how I mentioned the Sun is the devil? Well, did you notice I didnt' mention any use of sunscreen? Stupid whities were so excited about the sun, the beach, and getting tan, that we forgot about applying sunscreen. And with the length of time we spent out there we very quickly learned the error of our ways. We have dubbed ourselves the 3 Tomatoes. (Cherry, Beefeater, and Ketchup.)
(<-This is Cherry Tomatoe's interesting burn marks. For some reason a small section of her legs did not burn. The photo is dark, but if you look closely, you can see one little white circle on each knee)
(This is Ketchup's fancy beauty mark from the weekend's escapades->.)

By the next day, my burn was so bad, I didn't even want to see the sun. It hurt to much to even go outside. Even with a long sleeved shirt on. So I stayed in the shade, and lounged around with my man when he arrived around noon on Monday. Last night it hurt so bad to sleep. I like to sleep on my stomache, and my boobs hurt so bad with pressure applied that I settled for laying on my back, where it took me twice as long to fall asleep.

Today however, the bright red has turned to pink, and at least my burn is even. I suspect that it will turn to tan by tomorrow. Oh, and the later part of my title? Oh, yeah. I'm fixin' to get my period, so not only am I uncomforatable with my burn, I am uncomforatable with my bloating and cramping.

The Sun is the devil.

Kira Look Alike

There is a lady in my office that looks just like Kira from the Dark Crystal! I wish I could take a picture of her and post it. (If you've never seen this movie, Kira is the puppet on the right.)

This lady has short choppy bangs that she fluffs up, and her nose and mouth look like this too! I totally want to mention this to someone in my office, but I think they will think I'm mean. But this lady is totally the twin to Kira.

Wedding Weekend

I am guessing y'all are just dying to hear about my cousin's wedding weekend. OK. Here goes.

Friday: I was supposed to meet with the last bridesmaid before the rehearsal dinner. Turns out, she went out Thursday night and had a hang over. Therefore sleeping in, hence, resulting in her leaving her place late, making her late for the rehearsal dinner. So I wound up having to run off to the church to fit her around 8:00. The dress was still too big. (I learned something about alterations. But that's another story.) So I had to go home, and take it in, and hem it. This took me until around 11:00. Meanwhile, while I was at home sewing, my family was up at the liquor store getting wasted. My dad was so hung over the next day, he barely made it through the ceremony, and didn't even go to the reception and dance.

Saturday: Wedding Day I got a call to come help one of the bridesmaids zip her top. Turns out, she got it stuck. Don't ask me how. So I was Super Seamstress! To the Rescue! I should have just followed them to the church because another bridesmaid was getting dresses there. She wanted me to pin her bra straps in because they kept falling down. So once again, super hero Seamstress Lady went off to the church to help. All in all the wedding went well. I was surprised to see my name in my cousin's wedding pamphlet as the seamstress. Then at the dinner she stood up and thanked me in front of everyone. This was a little embarrassing, and then throughout the night I had people coming up to me telling me how fabulous I was. Now, I know you are thinking that is fabulous, who doesn't like compliments? But it was starting to make me feel self conscience. I don't exactly view my "old lady" habit of making things from scratch as a talent. I think pretty much anyone can cut out a pattern and sew something.

Let's see, highlights of the evening:

  • The devil wore a short black dress. I was very surprised at this, and even she came to my house before the wedding looking for a safety pin her boobs in.
  • The flower girl didn't even make an appearance down the isle, and she was the cutest one of all.
  • Everyone loved my outfit. A kb original creation. Of course!
  • My sister was her annoying self with her camera. Apparently her and her man (an ex good friend of mine) have decided they think they are professional photographers and are always annoying people with taking pictures of everything under the sun. Since she was being pretty annoying. I just asked her to send me copies of the pictures she takes. We'll see if that happens. I might wind up without any photos of my cousins wedding. She was just being so annoying about it all, I didn't want to contribute to the annoyingness. Nor did I want to be associated with her announcement.
  • I knew a lot of people at the wedding. I think this was due to my night out on the town with the girls the past several weekends. I figured that I have partied with my SIL, cousin & cousins friends for the past 5 weekends in a row. All night long I had a friend around me. I had a lot of fun all night long.
  • Meanwhile, the devil sat at a table with relatives not up for dancing or socializing outside of their circle, all night long. At one point in the evening she asked me if I'd go out and dance with her. So I did. I was drunk, and didn't care too much. After one song, she disappeared.
  • Throughout the night 3 different girls told me how much they didn't like my sister, how she was snobby, and bitchy. See, other people do catch on to her ways. :o) I tried very hard to keep myself objective, bu of course by the third girl, I was probably a little less subtle.
  • I did hear the bitch make a couple snide comments about me to family members. But since it was pretty obvious who the stuck up loser was, I just ignored it.
  • The bride looked very lovely, and her dresses bustle was so damned cute!
  • Thank God I have no more dresses to worry about! It's now off to scrapbooking!

Sunday-Tuesday: I took Monday and Tuesday off to spend with my mom. My dad, and sister flew out on Monday, so I went with to the cities. After we dropped them off, my mom and I went shopping. Although my wallet is pinched pretty thin at the moment. I bought myself two new pieces of luggage. I desperately need it before June 6th, when I have a business trip in Chicago. I did pretty well. Other than that one expensive purchase, I managed to spend a few bucks here and there on some good deals.

Tuesday night we had a big storm. I had intentions of having dinner at my grandmothers, then heading back to my apartment in the city. It was raining, and lighting so hard, that when I left my gma's house, I couldn't see the road. So I just headed to the house in town. I decided to spend the night there and head out for the office in the morning. This was so nice since usually my drive is 3 hours from the house. Now it's only 1 hour! It was totally awesome! I thought the husband would be happy to see me, but since he has been burning the candle at both ends trying to get the fields seeded, he was exhausted and I didn't even get to see an erection. Not even a token salute. But at least the storm rinsed all the dirt off of my car!

So that's my recap of last weekend. I hope you enjoyed it!

Fact or Crap

FACT or CRAP.The human penis is the fastest-growing body part during puberty.

FACT! On average, penis growth starts between the ages of 10 and 14. The penis grows in length first and in width slightly later. If the entire human body grew as fast, men would be close to 9 feet tall!

Things that make you go hmmm....

Ahhm. May I Have Your Attention Please.

I'd like to make an announcement. This evening. Wednesday, May 17th, 2006. At aproximately 9:45 pm central standard time. I completed Project Cousin's Bridesmaid Dresses. Of course there is still one hem to stick, but we all know that that is not possible until Friday night. I also still have to cut the veil to size. All in all, these two tasks should take me no more than an hour to complete.

So please, raise your martini's, margarita's, and whiskey sours and take a long and savory drink for me! Tomorrow night will be dedicated to watching the Finally of the OC, and unpacking all these damned boxes in my place. Damn it feels good to be under my own agenda again!

Thank you, I will now turn the floor over for questions and discussiong.

My Flowers

Fwmama and Kai inspired me to share photos of my flowers. Here they are! Enjoy!

This my hibiscus. It survived the move from TX to MN. I had two, the other one survived the first year, but this year it didn't survive the winter indoors. More on that later. This one, miraculously survived the winter indoors. I planted some Peonies and Petunias around the outside. They will bunch out, and the hibiscus should grow back to a full size bush.

This isn't an outdoor plant. I'm just proud of it. This is an African Violet that I rooted from my mother-in-laws plant. I am so proud because African Violets are very finicky plants. I rooted it from one single leaf! Now look at it! It's only about 4 inches in dia. But ain't she a beauty?!

This is my tomato plant. This used to be my other hibiscus (my favorite flower if you didn't know). I thought I'd try to grow some grape tomatos this year. I'm hoping to save a few bucks at the grocery store with this baby! ha!

These are my Johnny Jump Ups from my MIL's garden that I told you about. Some of them are looking quite long. I'm hoping they start spilling over the edge of this pot. They're totally cute, and I am really enjoying them!

This pot has several bulbs in them. The bulbs won't show up until mid summer so I planted a couple Johnny Jump UPs, and Double Petunias.

Now all my patio needs is a grill and a bistro set!
The grill is coming. No mater what my husband thinks!

Fact or Crap

I'm impressed with myself. I knew the answer to this one!

Fact or Crap: The phrase “mad as a hatter” came from the fact that hat makers tended to go insane.

Fact! In the 18th and 19th centuries, hat makers used mercury for curing felt, causing as many as one in ten to go insane at one point. Unfortunately, the thousands of hat workers who handled the chemical did not know it was a deadly poison, whose side effects were anemia, inflammation of the gums, kidney damage . . . and insanity. Lewis Carroll’s Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland was therefore rooted in reality.

Do you know what these are? These are boobs. (Sorry Kai.)

These are the breasts of my good friend Jordan. (She graduated from close coworker to good friend now that we no longer work together. I even moved her over from "coworkers" to "friends" groupings in my cell phone.) I took this picture on my camera phone some time back in a drunken stupor at one of our happy hours for work. I call them Jabba the Hutt and Mount Everest.

I forgot I even had this picture. I have another one of my other friend Angry Chicken, but she had to try really hard to make it look like she has any cleavage! ha ha ha! Poor Angry.

Last Saturday night, my husband looked up a number in my cell phone. I thought he was taking a while scrolling around in my addressbook, but chalked it up as him not knowing how to work my phone. Then because I was in boonie-land. I turned my phone off (service doesn't work in boonie-land). Monday I turned my phone on to call someone, flipped it open, and on my wallpaper was this picture. My husband thinks he's so funny.

Another funny story regarding Jordan's boobs.
At my going away happy hour we both decided to take a pick of our boobs. Big D was the camera man. We had about 4 guys around us in the bar to block our exposure to others. (As if we really cared at this point, we were pretty drunk). When Jodan got the pics back, apparently I didn't lift my bra! ha ha ha! So it's just her big ta-tonka's. I cheated somehow! Although I vividly remember having to adjust my bra back into place. Maybe I move faster than she does or something. This reminds me, I have to ask my gay friend Noel if he saw my boobs. I know he was standing next to me when I did it. I'm totally laughing out loud just thinking about it! When she got the photos back, I was glad to see mine weren't exposed. Not because I don't want a picture of my chest out there, but because Itsy and Bitsy would be standing right next to Jabba and Mount. And that would really make itsy and bitsy look even smaller than they really are, and that would have bruised their egos. I don't know if they would have recovered.

May Weekend #2

Here is my weekend update.

Friday: Finished my aunts maid of honor dress, and headed off to the Big W. Then we just watched Walk the Line (I finally got around to watching it) and went to bed like a couple of old people.

Saturday: Slept in until I couldn't lay around anymore. (There were other activities involved as well.) Got out of bed about noon, and headed to a nearby town to shop for a birthday gift certificate for my sister-in-law. She loves to shop at Maurices. While in this store, I decided I would love to shop at Maurices as well! They had tons of cute things! I could have totally spent a few hundred bucks on myself in there. I am going back as soon as I have time and money to waist. Lilagirl, you would love this store as well, the main reason why my SIL loves this place is because she can get jeans to fit her. She is tall and skinny. Not as tall as you, (prob. not as skinny either) but I bet they'd have cloths to fit you. If you ever get your ass up here to visit me (I know, highly unlikely), we can go shop there. There is one in MOA.

Sat. night we got roped into playing cards at the SIL's with some mutal friends. Including my other SIL and a cousin. We wound up playing a couple old college drinking games. It was fun!

Sunday: I got up early to drive to another neigboring town for a final fitting of one of the bridesmaids. This got me out of church with the in-laws. Then I came home and found my husband laying on the couch, "in church". Meaning he was watching one of those crazy evangelical programs because he felt guilty for not going to church. Strangely, he wouldn't let me blow him. hmmm.... I wonder why. After making me suffer through this evangelical program, we got cleaned up and met the inlaws for a mother's day lunch at one of the restaurants in yet another local town! It was buffet style, and pretty good! Then we went to this huge garden center and bought a few flowers to plant.

Sun. Night we had tickets to see Ron White. He was hilarous. I was not sure if I would find him funny or not, but I laughed out loud and hard for most of the evening. He's a great story teller and the way he delivers his stories, really made me laugh. I almost pissed my pants at one point because I was scared to get up and go the bathroom. I even was one of those idoits that claps their hands while laughing a couple times. I didn't know I was that sort of idiot. I always found those idiots especially anoying. What the fuck are they claping for? Does it help them laugh better? I am happy to say that I only did it like twice before I realized what I was doing, and quit immediately.

Tired of Angel Forwards?

A couple weeks ago I got an angel forward. You know what I'm talking about. One of your cheezy friends (mine know who they are) sends you a forward with a cute little cartoon angel on it for you to pass on, and yadda yadda yadda. Well, if you're gonna send me an angel, I sure hope God sends me a whole sleu of this type!

Stop trying to look up his loin cloth. I already tried that.

Strappin' On the Pedometer

A while back when I was gung-ho about walking daily, I purchased a pedometer. At this point in time, it was last summer, the weather was nice, and I had walked around my neighborhood about 10 times in a row. So I thought I was doing good! As extra incentive, I bought a pedometer to ensure that I was walking enough. Never used it.
I opened it up, set it up to measure my stride correctly, and never used it. The weather got bad, I got lazy, and it never made it to my belt loop.

Well, today I dug that sucker out. Since I'll be starting the Special K Challenge on Monday, I thought I better break it out to ensure that I'm getting my 7,000 - 10,000 steps a day in. (I wonder if I shout out, "Bank!" I can save the extra steps for the next day?)

Another reason I really need to start dieting seriously, is that I found this site. My Virtual Model. It is being used by some of the retail stores to help you find cloths that fit you before you buy them online. Even my virtual model look obese.

It's pretty cool though. You can personalize it to look very close to what you look like. It's totally fun! I reccomend doing yourself!

The left is what I look like today.

This is what I'd like to look like soon.

This way I can wear this at the lake!

Taking Bets

Let's place some bets people. For those of you that know my sister, lets take some bets.

I am betting that she will wear the same cream/white dress outfit thing that she wore to my wedding to my cousin's wedding. The very same outfit that I called her and told her, "I don't care what you wear, just don't wear white or cream or anything that is close to white or cream." I told her this becuase it's tacky to wear this color to a wedding. The only one in white shades should be the bride. Unless it's like white with another color. But not all white!

My sister showed up to my wedding in an all white, could be used for a casual wedding dress if you were going to get married on a beach or someplace like that. She told me it was a "mink-ish taupe color". First of all, mink is not a color - trust me, I've got a degree in fashion. and second of all, girl don't know what color taupe is if she really thinks that color is taupe.

I didn't tell her off though. Just told her as I had to stand next to her in pictures, that a. That's not taupe, and b. When you get married, I'm going to be sure to wear my wedding dress. Smile for the camera! click.

So back to the betting. I've got 20 that says she's gonna rewear that outfit. Any takers?

Kellie's Pregnant!

OK. I don't actually know Kellie Rasberry from Kidd Kraddick in the Morning , but I'm totally stoked that she is pregnant! While I was in Texas they were my regular morning show, and she had been trying to get pregnant for at least a year before I moved up north. So that would make it 3 years that she's been trying to get pregnant! I went to their website today and they have her sonograms posted! I was totally excited! Now this is a woman who truely has been trying for a long time, and I'm happy she finally was able to get pregnant. Unlike some of my friends who tried for maybe 6 months and thought they were having "such a terrible time getting pregnant." Paa lease! They don't know the meaning of long time.
Anyway.

Congrats my morning show friend Kellie! I'm happy for you! Poor Big Al, and Kidd though, I am guessing she'll be even more moody then she already is. But I bet it makes for great morning show!

Click here to listen in, they are on from like 6 am to 10.

Keep lookin' up! 'Cus that's where it all is!

Bachelorette Party Weekend

I know it's already been a whole week since my cousin's bachelorette party. I've been hella busy, and exhusted.

The bachelorette party was a lot of fun. It was my first buss expierience, and I have to say, it was totally fun! I think we had more fun on the buss then at any bar. Well, except for the Wheaton Legion where we ended up. We got a little crazy there. We also decided that big W is actually a pretty happening town compared to other towns. Our bars were happening at 7:00! At 10 an d11 other bars still were dead.

Yeah, she guessed me for the lingerie exchange (My Cousin's Underwear). Everyone elses "gifts" came from either pamida, or target. Mine was the only one from a real store. ha ha ha! So after she guessed mine, I brought her the other part of it. She totally loved it. She even said, "This is expensive! I'm gonna use it on my wedding night." So I'm glad she recognized that it was expensive! ha ha ha! Is that bad? Then I told her "yeah! so don't get cum on it!" I think that statement losened everyone up because before that they were all pretty quiet and politely sucking through their penis straws. Then all hell broke lose.

On Another Subject...
Do you know what Johnny Jump Ups are? They're like a little pansy. My mother-in-law was going to pull a bunch of them out of her flower garden because they were taking over and she wants to plant something else, so I dug three pots full of them up to plant on my patio. So today at lunch I'm going to the Home Depot to buy a couple patio pots! woo hoo! I'm buying two square pots to go with my round pots, and one of my hybiscus' died so I'm planting a cherry tomato in it. D eats them like candy so I thought why not! Then I don't know what I'll plant in the planters other than Johnny Jump Ups, but I thought they'd look nice on my balcony. Right next to my grill of course! When I get that. I also have to go to Sams club and buy toilet paper. I'm on my last roll! I'm going to have to start using the leaves and rocks soon.

Let's see, what else happened this weekend? I think that's about it. Oh, my sister in law came over last night to use my computer, and so I was up late hanging out with her. I finally went to bed at midnight, and I think I heard her leave around 2:00. I told her to crash on my couch, but I guess she just went home. I am totally looking forward to doing nothing! I can't wait for the next two weeks to fly by so I can finally relax.

Bulbs

Last night I was going through a couple boxes that I have in my garage. I was looking for my gardening kit. I found the kit, and guess what else I found? I had two Hyacinth bulbs inside my little basket, and they were growing! Growing in my garage, without any light. I am guessing that they were just warm enough and had such a determination to grow, that they did just that! I hadn't planned on planting them, but I can't let them die, so I'm going to find a place in my already full planter for them. The problem is that it's been raining since yesterday, so it's a little hard, and messy, to get out there and dig around to plant them at the moment. So right now they are sitting on my kitchen stove under the light. I hope they don't die before I get them into the ground!

Let's name them. What are some good names for a flower?

Were you wondering about my progress on the dresses?

Well, I brought what I had to fit the last two girls. The one girl lost a tone of weight, so her skirt fell right off of her. I'm so glad she was wearing a thong too. That was so nice to have to see her perky little ass staring at me when I tried to pin it and it fell down. Note to you: When you get fitted, please wear full back underwear. We don't want to see your ass. If I were a lesbian maybe... But I'm not. So I don't want to see your ass.
The second girl. The bigger girl. I had a similar problem. Her skirt needs to be taken in some. Apparently the fat roll goes above the band of the skirt. So I had her unzip the skirt so I could pin the inside, and she dropped the skirt. She too was wearing a thong. Hmmmm... After that, I really feel like I have a good ass now. It may be big, but it's alright looking other then that. Plus my nice tits counter any ugliness I might have else ware.

club kb Garden Corner!
I planted some bulbs in the front of the house this past weekend. The Tulips and Hyacinths I planted last fall are coming up nicely! I also planted some bulbs in one of my flower pots, dug up some Johnny Jump Ups from my mother-in-laws house, and transplanted them into another pot. Then one of my two Hybiscus' didn't survive the winter so I dug that out of my planter, and planted two Cherry Tomato plants. We eat those like candy around here, so I'm hoping we won't have to purchase any for a while. For Christmas, in my stocking, I got a tiny little pot with 4-leaf clovers in it. So I bought a cute little rectangular window pot to plant those in. I'm looking forward to those coming up, I think they'll make a great table centerpiece! Everything is looking nice so far. I just hope today's rain and wind doesn't pelt them too much and damage them.

Rainy Days

I love rainy days, but this is crazy. Usually, on a rainy day, I love to curl up on the couch, or in back in the day, on my covered patio and read a good book and just listen to, and smell the freshness of the rain.

Today would mark the third straight day that it's rained. And today it's raining cats and dogs! I opened the door to head out to my car at lunch, and swear I was pelted with a cat! My head was almost soaked before I even got out the door. So I headed back inside, and decided to have the can of soup I've had in my drawer for some time now. It seems like a very good day to have soup. Progresso Chicken and Rice. My health food friend gave it to me when I was at the "other" place. I've tried their Chicken Noodle once, but thought it was totally discussing. When it comes to Chicken Noodle, Campbell's Chunky/Home-style brand is the only one for me!

Grills

I think there is something wrong with my husband. All I want is a propane grill. I love to grill! I'd do it year round if I had a grill. My husband, on the other hand, likes the grill, but doesn't see it necessary to purchase one because they are expensive. He doesn't "see why I think we need one so bad". What's wrong with him? I thought all straight men lived to grill? I haven't known a straight man who didn't love to grill? It's fine with me if he's not the actual grill-er because I like to grill, and I like to cook things the way I like them. So this is fine, but it's totally weird to me that he, and his family is the same way, doesn't have that desire to grill come the first hint of spring! For me, the second I smell someone else's grilled foods when I set foot outside, instantly pings of jealousy roll through my body. Plus, I cook a mean chicken, steak, and pork chop on the grill. I've been dying to taste my grilled morsels, and if he won't buy the grill for me, then I'm buying it myself and not letting him eat anything that I make on it. Ok. That's probably not likely to happen - the not sharing part, but I can threaten him. It's just weird to me that he doesn't think it's necessary to buy a grill. Who cares though, I'm buying a grill. And some patio furniture as soon as I can afford it. It might wind up being the cheap plastic stuff from Wal-Mart at first, but it'll be furniture. Anyone want to come to my place for a fun filled evening of grilled foods, and patio sitting? Come on over! PS. I'll make Margaritas too.

I Love My Tits

Yep, you heard me correctly. I love them. Just do! I am wearing a really cute sweater today, and I just think they look really nice. I can't stop looking at them, and they're mine. I see them all the time. I've been told that I have good boobs by several old boyfriends, and the occasional stranger. And of course, my husband things they are great too. Out of the many that I have seen, and few that I have felt, I really have to agree with the majority here. They are not too small, and not too big, they stay where they are supposed to even without a bra.

Sorry my gay boyfriends, but you're missing out.

Peanut Butter

I brought my 1/2 drank Starbucks coffee downstairs to the break room to microwave. While standing in front of my microwave, I noticed that there were 3 huge jars of peanut butter sitting on the counters next to the toasters. One guy was using it, so I asked him, "Is this peanut butter supplied by the company for just anyone to use?", the man answered, "yes". So my office supplies us with endless supplies of peanut butter. Interesting...

So then I started wondering what strange things do other people's offices supply them? My office supplies packets of hot chocolate, and of course regular coffee. My department has donuts and bagels on weekly rotation every Thursday. This is nice. Another strange thing about this place is that they don't keep supplies on hand. So if I need a binder, I have to have someone order one for me. Or a pen, or a folder. It's very strange. Don't they buy in bulk? I also can't order colored pretty stuff because of it. I just get whatever the standard thing is. So it's borying boring boring, plain plain plain. I DON'T like that. But I have to say, the most strange so far is this peanut butter thing.

What is the weirdest thing your office supplies you?

Home Depot!

I'm so excited! I'm planning on buying a gas grill for my patio now that I can have a gas grill. So I've been looking, and most likely I will wind up buying from the Depot because I like them. Anyway. I decided I was gonna open a credit card, and then I could get 10% off. I almost did this last week. But then I saw a commercial for a free gift card if you buy now. So this is awesome! I can get something for my money. woo hoo. I love when this happens!

My Cousin's Underwear

As I had mentioned in my previous blog, I was buying my cousin some underwear. This is because her bachelorette party is this weekend, and I am supposed to bring a pair of underwear in her size, that matches my personality. So I went to VS and bought her a really cute leopard print teddy, with matching underwear. It's silk, and totally cute. If I didn't have such a fat-ass complex lately, I would have bought two. It was a bit pricey, but it went on my Angel card, and I get points for stuff toward free stuff later, so it's all good. I know I was only supposed to buy her underwear, but I couldn't just buy her underwear! Plus, I thought the nighty/teddy thing was a must buy! Her fiance will love me for it too. But I think he already loves me anyway. What's not to love?

New Place for Lunch Outtings

I found a new place for when I go to lunch by myself. The mall! I have been running errands and stuff during lunch. On a couple occasions have had nothing to do during lunch, and did not want to stay in the office, so I just drive around and wander. Well, today I went to the mall to get some underwear for my cousin (i'll explain later) and I decided that I really need to get my shop on. After window shopping for a while, I realized that there are many many things that I need to purchase. After picking out a cute pair of underwear for my cousin, I decided to get something to eat in the food court. The food court at this mall is totally cute. It's got a huge fireplace with seating around it that is totally cozy in the winter. D and I have curled up there in a hung over stupor once waiting for someone to meet us for lunch. I napped and was warm. (This is when I decided that fireplaces do good for hangovers.) In addition to this, they have a lot of cute seating where you could plug in a laptop or something and just hang out. There isn't a whole lot for interesting food though. Just your standards, McD, Suway, Chinese, Cajun, Mexican, etc. I ate at this Cajun place. Had the Spicy BBQ Chicken & sauteed vegetables. Loved it!

What about you? What do you usually do for lunch during the work week? Do you wind up going out to eat everyday, or do you eat in the desk? Got any place interesting that you go?

Big J, On a Roll!

Could this be my boyfriend, Jimmy Johnsons year? I am hoping so!

http://www.nascar.com/drivers/dps/jjohnson00/cup/index.html

With exception to two races so far this year, he's finished top 10 with 2 wins, 1 second, and 1 third already!

So far this year, he's already made, $2,907,050. He's made more than his owner, and my husband, Jeff Gordon so far this year. $1,376,960.

See why I totally wouldn't mind if my real man would start racing the big time instead of local tracks?

I tired to post pictures, but for some reason, blogger isn't letting me right now. I'll try again later.

Tired of Being Tired

I have been completely exhausted for the last 4-6 weeks. So I took a look at my planner. I have not had a single weekend to myself since March 18th. My new place is still in boxes and is really starting to get on my nerves that I haven't unboxed anything. But who has the time? I won't have a weekend to myself until June 10th. Which then I won't really either because my anniversary falls near that weekend, and I want to do something nice and relaxing. Somewhere warm preferably. So Maybe by June 17th I can start to unpack the place that I moved into on March 27.

I really miss the days where I came home from work at 4:30, sat on my couch because I was too poor to go out shopping, took a nap, got up, did some stuff around the house, got bored and went to bed. I now dream about taking naps. By the time I get home, my dream of a good nap is overshadowed by all the stuff I need to do. And by the time I go to bed, I have to make myself go to bed because by this time I'm on a roll with whatever it is I'm doing. And when I finally get to bed, all I do is think of what needs to be done tomorrow! It's a crazy circle. Calgon! Take me away!

June 17th. I'm blocking out right now. I'm going to unpack my townhome and get it liveable. I really should do this this weekend, but I have to be in the big W for my cousins bachelorette party. Then the weekend after that so far is free, but I have a feeling it will be consumed with something to do with the wedding. Her wedding is exhausting me more than my own did and I don't know for sure why that is. Actually I do. But I won't say.

So it rained all weekend here. Friday was beautiful but I was inside all day, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday it rained all day long! How is that EVEN possible? But I'm glad it wasn't snow. Today it's not supposed to rain until the afternoon. So because it was raining all weekend, I have had a splitting headache all weekend long to go with it. This morning I didnt' have a headache, but I have this weird dizziness thing. I got out of bed and I felt like I had gotten off of that ride at the fair that spins you around. I think it's called the tilt-o-whirl or something. I thought it was because I have started to starve myself again. (Otherwise known as a diet) But I ate breakfast an hour ago, and I still feel funny. I hope if I pass out, somone notices and wakes me up!

Oh yeah, one more thing before I post. Oh damn. I can't remember what it was! Oh well... mayb next time.

Happy May Day

So up north they celebrate May Day. (That's today.) It has something to do with something. OK, I don't remember the meaning, but I do remember when I was little making baskets out of paper, filling them full of toys and goodies, and doorbell ditching them on friends doors. It was a lot of fun!

Well, today my Director gave us gum at all of our desks. It was sweet. May Day is also my managers favorite day of the year. Interesting because it's meaning has roots of something sex related I believe. Maybe I better look it up and get back to you....

**One of the most popularly known May Day traditions is to hang a basket full of spring flowers and/or other small gifts on a neighbor's doorknob. The trick is you don't want the neighbor to see you! If you get caught, you are supposed to get a kiss.**

**A popular activity on May Day is to decorate a pole with brightly colored ribbon or paper streamers. Some also add flowers and balloons. The pole is usually carried in a parade and then placed in the ground at a designated area. People then dance around the May pole, holding the ends of the streamers or ribbon in their hands.** This is the phalic part. I think the pole planting has something to do with fertility and stuff.

**in medieval and modern Europe, holiday (May 1) for the celebration of the return of spring. The observance probably originated in ancient agricultural rituals, and the Greeks and Romans held such festivals.**
