Easter Trivia

My last post caused me to post this Trivia question from my daily trivia calendar that I seem to only read once a week.

What inspired First Lady Dolley Madison to old annual Easter egg rolls in Washington DC?

...a story she heard about Egyptian children rolling colored eggs at the site of the Pyramids. She copied the idea, inviting youngsters to roll Easter eggs down the sloping lawn of the US Capital. The event was moved to the White House lawn in 1878.

Interesting eh!
